Demos are usually not time-limited (like Trial software) but the functionality is limited.

Im pretty sure Im not using a filtered word, and I tried several different queries. Programs released under this license can be used at no cost for both personal and commercial purposes.

I am hoping others find this post as I also hope this helps you to your wondering why this isn't working for you. Then I found your post of not being able to DL Soulseek it's self! This is never the case since I have been with them, never heard o ever being any problem unless you are not computer suavy at all. I have open/closed/open/closed SOulseek many times, tried everything possible, and also find no threads about this current problem. Everywhere else is connecting (all other sites other than any Soulseek related sites). Thanks to the help and tireless dedication of user thescarletfire, and after weeks of testing, restructuring, fixing and improving, Im happy to be able to offer one of the biggest updates to SoulseekQt in a very long time.These are the big three changes/additions: For ScarletFires build, SoulseekQt was ported from Qt4 to Qt5. I started to notice any Soulseek related website I attempted to go to was not connecting. I then started to google everything I can to figure this problem out. I had UL's & DL's fresh as if it was working not long before 9pm CST. I woke up to see that nothing was working. If you're on Windows, you share a lot of files (or browse a lot of shares) and the client often crashes for you, there's a good chance it's just running out of memory. It has worked for me great for years on my Windows Vista OS. I just woke up after sleeping since about 2pm CST.
